Harding named ‘Best Road Trip Destination’
SEARCY, Ark. — Harding University beat out nine other contenders in an online voting competition to be named the “Best Road Trip Destination in College Basketball,” presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
An in-depth feature on what makes the Rhodes Field House, the Harding campus and the town of Searcy special for basketball fans was scheduled to air April 6 on the “GEICO Best of College Basketball” special on CBS Sports.
“We may not have as many people as some of the larger arenas and universities,” head basketball coach Jeff Morgan said. “But what we have for several years is a very passionate, creative and positive student body, faculty, staff and community that come to the Rhodes Field House and are a huge part of our team.”
