The East Texas “Give Me the Bible” television program celebrated its 25th anniversary during its annual conference in Palestine, Texas, the the Tyler Morning Telegraph in Texas reports.
The weekly program airs on five East Texas and Central Texas television stations as well as nationally and internationally via gospel networks.
“The ‘Give Me the Bible’ program started in April 1989 and will start its 25th year of production this April,” said Dan Manuel, one of the regular panelists of ministers featured on the show. “Thousands of lives reportedly have been touched by this telecast and a large number have become Christians as a result of the combined efforts of those who support the program.”
