FABULOUS FIVE: Perspectives on porn, poverty and other key issues facing society and the church

Here are perspectives on five key issues facing society and the church:

  I’m not sure I’d call these “fabulous”, but I’d call them meaty issues that are far more important for the Lord’s Church to address than questions about dancing, or Christian colleges being in the black. I know of no congregation *not* touched by all of these.

  I agree on “fabulous.” How about “the Frightening Five”?
  On the racism problem, part of the solution is recognition that the concept of racism itself is a flawed moral category that eventually fosters the very vice it attempts to comprehend.

  These indeed are “frightening five” things we need to help our people to fight and conquer in their lives. I agree that they are a lot more pertinent in our teaching and discussions than the dancing issue and “Christian colleges being in the black.” Thanks for giving us these very important columns.
