March 17, 2016 - March 18, 2016

How do culture, religion, finance, and politics impact women leaders around the world? The fourth annual Women in Leadership: Work-Life Balance conference brings you the visionary stories of women leaders in diverse locations and situations, facing different struggles, locally and globally. Engaging scholars and business professionals from all sectors, this conference provides a space in which to share wisdom, create learning opportunities, and improve the future.

Through connecting around the life course method of identity, which include; motivation and drive; relational style; and adaptive style, participants share research that enhances opportunities for women to live meaningful lives of purpose and leadership.

Discover and engage in dialogue with researchers and experts in academia and business. Attend this two-day conference and experience a research based look at the unique challenges that women face in their work and life and how their networks can enhance those experiences.

The academic conference is part of Women in Leadership; Work-Life Balance Project, an initiative of the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) led by Emeritus Dean Margaret J. Weber. The mission of the initiative is to explore the work-life balance issues of women from global perspectives. The movement aims to accomplish this through its three components: research; a digital library/website; and an annual academic conference.
