FHU Graduate School of Theology to Host
Symposium

 

Henderson, Tennessee—The Freed-Hardeman
University Graduate School of Theology will host a research symposium Friday,
Oct. 9.  Noted author, philosopher and
apologist Dr. Norman Geisler will speak at three sessions beginning at 9 a.m.
in Ayers Auditorium in FHU’s Brown-Kopel Business Center.

Geisler has authored or co-authored 96 books
and hundreds of articles. He has taught theology, philosophy and apologetics at
the college and graduate level for more than 50 years. He is currently the
Distinguished Professor of Apologetics at Veritas Evangelical Seminary in
Murrieta, California.

The author’s most recent books include “The
Bible’s Answers to 100 of Life’s Biggest Questions,” “The Danger from Within,”
and “The Atheist’s Fatal Flaw.” All three have been published in 2014-15.

At the symposium, Geisler will answer the
following questions: “Truth: Absolute or Relative?” at the 9 a.m. session; “Can
We Trust the Bible?” at 10:30 a.m.; and “Morals: Absolute or Relative?” at 1:30
p.m.

In addition, he will participate in a
question and answer session and book signing at a luncheon. Off-campus guests
are asked to pay $10 for the luncheon.
