iCulture: Pursuing Holiness in a Self-Saturated World
March 1 – 5, 2015
The culture of “Me” has saturated our society. Everywhere we look we see “i” this and “i” that. Whether it is for better or for worse, the truth is that the iCulture will be around for awhile. Ironically, the contemporary movement toward secularism presents a wonderful opportunity for making a clearer distinction between Christianity and secularism. What’s the answer to the accelerating slide toward selfishness, relativism, and secularism? The answer is holiness—not just a study of holiness but the pursuit of holiness in life, in the church, and in the community. The Bible says “you shall be holy, for I am Holy” (1 Peter 1:16). Holiness is deep, challenging and demanding. Holiness convicts. It transforms character, morality, and purpose.
