Church of Christ Care Center Benefit Concert

Theron Denson, an African American entertainer who does a Neil Diamond tribute and sounds very much like the musical giant, goes by the stage name Black Diamond. Theron is an active member of the Riverwood Church of Christ.
The Black Diamond will do a major benefit concert near Detroit on March 14, to raise money for the Church of Christ Care Center. He will perform at the superb venue of the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. The 1200 theatre seats, when sold, will bring a major economic impact for a construction project that will upgrade a wing of the Care Center to serve residents. The Macomb Center is perhaps the best know venue in Macomb County where many popular entertainers perform.
The Church of Christ Care Center is one of the few elderly care facilities of its kind among Churches of Christ. It has operated for 74 years and will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2016. It is located in Clinton Township, Michigan about 8 miles northeast of Detroit.
