There are many times in Scripture where God meets His people on a mountain: Mount Moriah, where Abraham took Isaac to worship; Mount Sinai, where Moses meets God several times; Mount Zion, both a physical place and a symbol of the people of God; the Mount of Olives, which was special to King David and played a pivotal role in Jesus’ ministry; and several others. Mountains exist in our own stories of faith, both in literal and figurative ways. Senior adults are invited to join Abundant Living and friends for a 4 day retreat filled with encouragement, worship, fellowship and fun, this spring in Gatlinburg – come Meet Me on the Mountain.
