Several churches of Christ and missions group support work throughout the country

Hope for Haiti’s Children (HFHC) Ministries, a Cincinnati-based Christian child development organization that provides comprehensive care and opportunities to poverty-bound Haitian children. The ministry is raising $15,000 to rebuild five homes of sponsored children and one Christian school/church building in the Pageste area of Haiti destroyed in the late May flooding.

The Haitian Christian Foundation supports several mission efforts in Haiti, including a preacher training school in Cap Hatien. A medical project and a farm in LaGossette are overseen by the Boulder Valley church, Boulder, Colo. Brad and Monica Guatney are the directors of the project. The medical component is a public health, community health initiative. A summer program for U.S. youth groups to work in the ministry is part of the effort.
