Heritage Christian University
Heritage Christian University in Florence, Alabama, invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in Theology or Ministry to begin as early as July 1, 2022. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a desire to direct the academic and spiritual formation of graduate and undergraduate students, and an interest in active participation within HCU’s academic community. Applicants should (1) articulate a commitment toward excellence in teaching, research, and service in the university setting, (2) be committed to the integration of scholarship with the life of faith, (3) articulate a research agenda, and (4) hold a PhD in Theology or Ministry.
Preference will be given to those holding a terminal degree in theology (particularly systematics), though those with training in related fields are encouraged to apply. Strong ABD’s, DMin’s, and those with specialties in any other area related to the training of Christian ministers may be considered.
