The Department of Psychology, Counseling, and Family Science at Lipscomb University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position beginning January 8, 2019. The ideal candidate will hold a doctorate in Family Science or closely-related field and have experience in teaching. The qualified applicant should be an active member of the church of Christ.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Leadership: Collaborate with the department chair to set the vision for the family science undergraduate program and plan for its growth.
- Scholarly activity: Engage in scholarly activity such as research, presentations, engagement with the professional community, etc. Membership and participation in NCFR, AAMFT, or other relevant association is expected.
- Academic advisement & mentoring: Advising undergraduate students on coursework and academic and career trajectories.
- University service: Faculty are expected to serve on committees, work groups, or special assignments in service to the university.
