The College of Health Sciences is seeking qualified individuals who desire to educate health care professionals in a Christ-centered environment. Candidates will be responsible for teaching in the Speech Language Pathology program and expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses, advise students, maintain an active research agenda, oversee student research and provide clinical supervision as needed. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for student engagement and advancing the mission of the University and the College. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position. Faculty rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research. The selected candidate is expected to teach summer courses, with extra compensation offered.
- Doctorate in Communication Disorders, Speech Language Pathology, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution preferred; Master’s degree will be considered
- A record of teaching, research and scholarly achievement commensurate with appointment
- Current CCC-SLP and eligibility for licensure with ABESPA preferred
