The Lubbock Christian University School of Business seeks an educator and leader who will contribute to the mission of preparing students for their calling as Christ-centered professionals, fully equipped for lives of Christian service and leadership. All qualified applicants must be professing Christians and be willing to support the mission and purpose of the university. The appointment is for an on-site, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position with potential summer employment.
An earned doctorate is required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. A successful candidate will have prior teaching experience at the university level in both traditional and online delivery, and will be able to provide evidence of extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: information technology, computer science, networking, cybersecurity, database management, or game design. Additionally, proficiency in and professional experience working with at least one computer programming language is necessary. Demonstrated competency with and experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, web design, web programming (including back-end development) and game design is preferred. Professional certifications in these areas and related fields are considered a plus.
