The mission of Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy is to integrate academic excellence with Christian faith and practice. Position Available: Beginning June 1, 2018

FACULTY POSITION: A tenure or non-tenure track position in pharmaceutical sciences is available to meet the educational responsibilities of the professional program. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, student-centered academic pharmacy program. The Department has active research space in a state-of-the-art Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center and has an established collaborative partnership with Vanderbilt University that includes a PharmD-to-PhD Pathway Program in pharmacology.

Qualifications include:

  • An earned doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD/PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent);
  • Teaching experience in pharmacy or other health professional programs and a record of scholarship activity including publications;
  • Existing funding, a faculty transition award, or a career development award;
  • Post-doctoral experience or a background in pharmacy or pharmacy education preferred.

Rank and Salary: Experience and qualifications will determine academic rank, and salaries are nationally competitive by AACP standards for 12 month appointments at private institutions.
