Agape of NC exists to provide professional social services as a compassionate outreach to families and children in need to strengthen families. Agape is a non-profit, social service ministry looking to recruit candidates who have a passion for serving families and children. Do you have experience in human services and want to work for an agency that actively improves the lives of the individuals it serves? Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Foster Parent Recruiter will develop and implement recruiting and retention tracking tools and strategies to measure the success of campaign effectiveness, creating and designing new campaigns as needed to continuously attract new recruits.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:

  • The Foster Care Recruiter must be able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
  • Must have valid North Carolina Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) they lead
  • Education requirements for a leader of others in programs is a bachelor’s degree
  • Verified 3 years of work experience as a high performing individual contributor in a related field
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships
  • Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player
  •  Will require proof of a COVID-19 vaccination as a part of the background screening and credentialing process for all applicants.

Responsibilities

  • This will include selecting the methods of advertising, preparing and placing recruitment ads in partnership with the internal marketing team
  • Recruiters will identify and meet with community stakeholders and often be the first face of Agape for interested foster families
  • The Recruiter will walk interested families through the licensing process 
  • Will develop and implement recruiting and retention tracking tools and strategies to measure the success of campaign effectiveness, 
  • Creating and designing new campaigns as needed to continuously attract new recruits
  • Manage the recruitment strategy and process for an assigned area
  • Build a prospect network and related campaigns to establish an ongoing pipeline of candidates
  • Facilitate informational foster care meetings and or presentations 
  • Conduct and attend networking and marketing events and represent the agency at promotional presentations, and other events to recruit foster parents
  • Raise awareness in the community, through visiting community locations and leaders, and following up on referrals to source potential recruits and further enhance community relationships
  • Monitor and maintain allocated marketing budget and partners with internal marketing resources to produce materials
  • May develop own materials
  • Record and report on the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various recruitment efforts, report regularly on pipeline activity
  • Develop informative activities and programs about agency services
  • Participate in the development and implementation of foster parent retention programs

Salary Range: $40,000 – $50,000
