Employment Available: Instructor or Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Biology
The Department of Biology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position for Fall 2019. Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. in biology or related field. We are seeking a physiologist and/or a microbiologist. Applicants from other biological disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities will be to teach the Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab courses. Additional responsibilities will include training undergraduate A&P lab teaching assistants/tutors, working with other professors to improve A&P pedagogy, and attending departmental and other relevant meetings. We have a tradition of undergraduate research in the Department of Biology. Therefore, the successful applicant will be encouraged to involve undergraduates in research.
