Employment Available: Assistant Professor of Animal Science
The Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in animal science, beginning August 2018. Applicants must have a master’s degree in animal sciences, or closely related field, from an AVMA-accredited institution, with a doctoral degree preferred (Ph.D., Ph.D./D.V.M or D.V.M). Individuals working toward terminal degrees will be considered. Our faculty are expected to be exceptional teachers who value working with and mentoring students. Faculty also are expected to engage in scholarly activity with interest in continued growth and enhancement of the department’s participation in ACU’s undergraduate research program.
The animal science major has four concentrations: animal industry and business, biotechnology and research, livestock management, and pre-veterinary medicine and health. Information about the department is available at acu.edu/agenv.
