Visiting Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC)
The Lubbock Christian University Department of Psychology and Counseling invites applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Counseling, non-tenure track, one-year contract. LCU offers a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and School Counseling (SC). The successful applicant’s primary responsibility will be teaching the core and CMHC specialization areas, but will be encouraged and supported to create and maintain active research and service agendas.
An earned doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program is expected. ABD considered with completion by August 2021. Recent doctoral graduates are invited to apply. Must be a professing Christian and an active, faithful member of a congregation of the Churches of Christ and be willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of the university.
