Church of Christ helps with Missouri flood relief
Dozens of Marion County flood victims braved the heat outside the Church of Christ in Hannibal Monday afternoon. Inside, members from United Way’s Northeast Missouri Chapter of Unmet Needs began handing out cleaning kits, clothes, food and water to name a few.
They, along with members fom the Church of Christ spent days in preparation for the event. All supplies were donated by The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee, a city recently hit hard by its own set of flash floods.
