Church members fight to protect children
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — A newly launched child advocacy Web site — www.HelpProtectTheChildren.org — aims to improve the lives of children exposed to pornography on the Internet.
Jeanne Fuller and Jennifer Bays, members of the Northside church in San Antonio, are promoting the site.
Fuller, a wife, mother and grandmother, said she became concerned when she was notified that a child-friendly Web site she owns had a “lurker” pornographic site.
The porn site had obtained a similar site name with only one letter difference in the spelling of the domains.
“When Christians try to impact lives positively, only to discover others intentionally going to such lengths to entice and expose young minds toward sin, it demonstrates the lengths minds intent on evil will go,” Fuller said. “Parents should be concerned and active in preventing this environment from continuing.”
She and Bays urge Christians to visit the child protection site for more details.
