As reported in Memphis, Tenn., Commercial Appeal:
Grace Place, an independent senior living community, has opened in Whitehaven. The facility, at 2131 Wilson Road near Millbranch, held its grand opening and ribbon-cutting Aug.2.
“This is an amazing opportunity to provide a safe environment based on Christian principles for the elderly, and the facility also provides employment opportunities,” said Michael Crusoe, executive director and minister at Norris Road Church of Christ.
Grace Place is situated on five acres and includes 30 smoke-free independent living one-bedroom apartments.

Here where i am, (Northeast Church, Oklahoma City) we are active in our community trying to touch the lives of people in very significant ways. We Just completed building 32 affordable homes in a traditional neighborhood that needed revitalizing. Every unit is occupied and people are experiencing another level of living. We believe that everyone in the body should have a great sense of community sensitivity. I want to encourage any church that is doing these types of ministry to continue in His grace.
We are looking to get our final approval on 34 units of housing for seniors as well.
