Christian school in Florida receives $2 million donation for science building

Christian Home and Bible School in Mount Dora, Fla., is celebrating a $2 million.gif?Action=thumbnail&Width=460&algorithm=proportionalt.

Mrs. Dorothy B. Thompson, of Leesburg, Fla., recently made a.gif?Action=thumbnail&Width=460&algorithm=proportionalt of $2 million to Christian Home and Bible School of Mount Dora for a new wing and complete renovation of their Science building. The.gif?Action=thumbnail&Width=460&algorithm=proportionalt was made to honor her late husband, Jerome B. Thompson, a renowned chemist and inventor. Mr. Thompson received his doctorate from Minnesota University, and went on to develop and patent numerous products.
Several years ago, Mrs. Thompson made the lead.gif?Action=thumbnail&Width=460&algorithm=proportionalt for a new residential group home to house children living on the CH&BS campus. The Thompson House was dedicated on October 2, 2010, and provides accommodations for up to 10 at-risk girls and their house parents.
