What is a Church of Christ?
'It should be love.” That was Jeff Cash’s answer to…
A total of 645 Christian Chronicle readers took the survey, “A closer look at Churches of Christ in the U.S.”
Respondents represented all 50 states and four foreign countries and answered questions about what defines a Church of Christ, why they are (or aren’t) a member, what excites them about their congregation and what concerns they have about the future of the fellowship. Almost all said they currently worship with a Church of Christ, with a few saying they are former members.
The majority of respondents (225) were over age 60. The 51-60 category had 140 respondents. The other categories were 41 to 50 (112), 31 to 40 (102) and under 30 (66).
