Children’s home earns national accreditation
LUBBOCK, TEXAS — Less than a dozen child-care agencies in Texas are accredited, Harms said. All licensed child-care agencies must meet certain state standards.
However, the Children’s Home of Lubbock goes above and beyond these standards in its ministry for the Lord, Harms said.
“We want to honor him, so the standards are much higher than the state requires,” he said.
