We reported earlier on Caleb Hawley advancing in the “American Idol” competition.
However, Hawley failed to make the list of 24 finalists.
The York News-Times in Nebraska reports:
YORK — The disappointment on Caleb Hawley’s face was evident as he was cut from the last round of competition before “American Idol” viewers take over the vote.
Tuesday night, Hawley was showcased along with dozens of contestants vying for the coveted final spots. Regretfully, judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson did not include Hawley with the finalists.
Hawley, a former York College student who now resides in New York City, was one of the first to be welcomed to Hollywood and he sailed through cut after cut.
Hawley recently visited York — while he couldn’t talk specifics of his “American Idol” success at that time (because pre-recorded shows were airing), he said it was a fantastic experience.
