Be Generous again … and again, and again
‘Compassion fatigue” is a phrase we’re likely to hear this hurricane season.
As of this writing, two massive storms, Florence and Michael, have attacked from the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, claiming more than 40 lives so far and millions, possibly billions, in damage. And we’re only halfway through the alphabet.

Once again, we ask our fellow believers to step forward and donate to relief efforts and consider being part of a mission team to the affected areas.
Now, more than ever, we need God’s power and inexhaustible energy to carry on. We find inspiration in the words of Paul from Galatians 6: “Whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
May we be people who give … again and again and again.
May those around us see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven.
