ACU’s Jean-Noel Thompson joins Faulkner University as v.p. for student services
Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala., reports:
Dr. Jean-Noel Thompson is joining Faulkner University as vice president for student services. Thompson is coming to Faulkner from Abilene Christian University where he has served since 2007 as vice president for student life and dean of students.
“Jean-Noel is a distinguished university administrator who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, service and a love for students,” said Dr. Billy D. Hilyer, president. “He is also a committed Christian, church leader and family man who believes in Christian higher education and will uphold the mission of Faulkner as a Christian university. We are very pleased to welcome him to Faulkner and look forward to the many positive contributions he will make for the university and for our students.”
As vice president for student services, Thompson will report directly to the president and oversee the dean of students, student life/activities, residence life, career services, campus security, student counseling, intercollegiate athletics and health services.
