AURORA — Each Wednesday, the food bank of the Southeast Church of Christ provides groceries for more than 60 families.
“We had no idea that people from the food bank would start coming to worship with us as they are now,” minister Larry Wishard said. “Why? Because our volunteers treat them with the same love and dignity that Jesus did.”
Member Sandra Brock created a video of a day in the life of the ministry.

LAS VEGAS — J’Brian, a member of the Bright Angel Church of Christ, has a mission: combine clean comedy with soul-winning.
After a performance at the Line Street Church of Christ in Evansville, Ind., in 2012, J’Brian (whose given name is Brian Elston) offered the invitation. Two people responded and were baptized into Christ.
Hoping to extend that reach, the Christian comedian/dancer/singer has produced a DVD, “People Are Funny.”
